Master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages
This program focuses on producing specialized personnel with the following expertise: knowledge of China and Chinese culture; skills in teaching Chinese language and culture; an understanding of both Chinese culture and foreign cultures; cross-cultural communication abilities; capabilities in organizing, supervising and coordinating language and cultural programs.
Duration: normally two years (four semesters), with the first three semesters consisting of on-campus course study, and the fourth semester for teaching practice.
Degree: qualified candidates obtain a professional Master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages
