TIIC 2018 National Undergraduate Electronics Design Contest - Analog System Design Invitation Contest was held in Nanjing recently. Wang Xiaohan, Li Xiaolin and Cong Zheng, undergraduates from School of Control Science and Engineering of SDU, teamed up and won TIIC top prize by creative ideas and outstanding performance index of their group work Digital Multimeter.
The SDU team designed four terminal method to sense small resistance, thereby enormously improving the precision and the standby energy consumption is extremely low. Academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences Zheng Youliao and Director of Marketing media of the Texas Instrument University Program, Patty Arellano, presented the award to the SDU team.This Invitation Contest was held by the Committee of National Undergraduate Electronics Design Contest, including one top prize (TIIC), 10 First Prizes, 17 Second Prizes and 36 Third Prizes. In total, there were 108 teams from 59 universities of 19 provinces and cities, among them, 40 teams are from Double First-rate universities. Most of the participators majored in electronic information or electronic engineering.
