On November 16 and 17, 2017, the "Experiencing China·Beijing" activity was held in Beijing. This activity was organized by the China Scholarship Council and one hundred excellent holders of the Chinese Government Scholarship from various universities in China participated. Five Chinese Government Scholarship holders from Shandong University, from countries along the Belt and Road, participated in this activity.

During the two days, the international students visited the NPC and PPCC sessions. In addition, they also visited the National Agricultural Science and Technology Exhibition Park, the Headquarters of JD, Rouran branch school of 101 Middle School, Two Bombs and One Satellite Memorial Hall, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics Museum, National Engineering Research Center of Rail Transportation Operation and Control System, Zhongguancun Pioneer Park, etc.
