An academic seminar was held online on Nov.13 and 14 by the Russian Literature Research Branch of China Foreign Literature Association (CFLA) and School of Foreign Languages and Literature of Shandong University.
The seminar was themed on "the study of Russian-Soviet literature over the course of the past century", attracting up to 200 scholars, experts, as well as postgraduate students and PhD candidates from universities and research institutes in China and Russia.
Attendees carried out in-depth discussions on the study of Russian literature theories, research on the works of Russian writers, research on Russian literature in comparative literature field, as well as Russian literature teaching and cross-research.
This seminar showed the panorama of Russian literature research in China, forming an integrated trend of literary research that contributes to further reveal the true essence of Russian literature.
The 2021 annual meeting of the Russian Literature Research Branch of CFLA was held, and new leadership was elected. Li Jiangang, deputy dean of SDU's School of Foreign Languages and Literature, was elected as the vice-chairman of the branch.
