The Continuous Professional Development Training 2021 jointly held by Shandong University (SDU) and University of Oxford was launched online on Nov 30.

The online training is aimed at improving teachers' teaching philosophy of higher education.

Twenty-nine teachers and 32 administrative staff members participated in the online training, which included contents of pedagogy of international education for teachers and the management methods of student affairs for administrative staff members.

Twelve online interactive lectures on the pedagogy of international education for teachers, including courses about active teaching, sustainable teaching, teaching assessment, teachers' development, application of new technologies, as well as students' transitional period and employment, will be held for six weeks.

Ten online interactive lectures on the management methods of student affair for administrative staff members, including courses about the management of student affairs, students' mental health, assistance for students' employment and entrepreneurship, students' clubs and voluntary activities, as well as financial supports for students, will be held over the next five weeks.
