The international industrial park of Shandong University (SDU), which is located in the Qingdao National High-tech Industrial Development Zone, has been luring high-tech enterprises, including M&G Stationary, which recently settled in the industrial park.

Built by SDU, Qingdao National High-tech Industrial Development Zone, and Zhongz Donsun Better Group, the industrial park has been attracting businesses since 2019 and now it has gathered over 100 high-tech companies and headquarters, according to Lyu Rui, assistant of general manager of the industrial park.

Qingdao company of M&G, for example, chose to settle in the industrial park for the reason that the industrial park is backed by SDU, Lyu added.

Since its inception, the industrial park has made full use of SDU's research resource to provide companies with university talents, technological research and development, and sci-tech achievements.

In return, the industrial park has been supporting SDU as a sci-tech achievement transformation base since its establishment.

The industrial park will begin construction on 10 hectares of land for the development of companies in 2022, with the goal of attracting more than 60 enterprises.

To promote coordinated development and cluster development, the industrial park will bolster its efforts to create a better environment for businesses to grow and establish a full life cycle industrial chain spanning from innovation, entrepreneurship, to intelligent manufacturing.
