Recently, the shield carrying geological forecasting system developed by a team from Shandong University's Geotechnical and Structural Engineering Research Center was successfully applied to the shield machine "Qianjin 21". Manufactured by Jinan Heavy Industries Group Co, the forecasting system contributed to the smooth connection between Chadian Station and Shunhai Station of the Guiyang Metro.
The shield carrying geological forecasting system incorporates three technical breakthroughs: effective seismic wave signal triggering, three-dimensional space and four-section shield tunnel observation mode, and a dynamic imaging method of unfavorable geological conditions based on big data analytics.
In addition, the research center also developed a stratum characteristic recognition system and a gas sensor measuring system for building a series of intelligent shield equipment, in order to ensure the safety of shield construction.
The research center collaborated with Jinan Rail Transit Group Co to establish scientific and technological innovation platforms specializing in rail transportation research, collaborative rail transportation innovation, and collaborative robot innovation. It will further boost underground engineering intelligent construction as the series of intelligent shield equipment received support from Shandong provincial research and development key projects.
