Shandong University's School of Nursing and Rehabilitation hosted the Sixth Qilu International Young Nursing Scholars Forum on May 27, attracting experts and young scholars from all over the world.
The forum has been stepping up its efforts to provide a high-end international exchange platform for nursing, as well as attract exceptional young academics in the field of nursing research to exchange ideas on cutting-edge research topics.
According to Xu Cuiping, president of the Shandong Nursing Association, the forum will serve as a communication, exchange, and development platform for nursing talents with a focus on health care.
Professor Liu Qiji, deputy dean of Cheeloo College of Medicine, encouraged forum attendees to use the academic exchange platform to beef up the development of nursing and health care.
During the forum, themed presentations were given by Professor Mary Palmer from the University of North Carolina, Holly Wei, assistant dean of the University of Louisville's doctoral program, and Patricia Davidson, vice-president of the University of Wollongong.
Other scholarly reports were given by 15 young researchers from prestigious universities in the United States, Japan, Ireland, Sweden, and China. The forum's showcase session included 17 new scholars' latest academic research accomplishments.
The forum was held online and nearly 4,000 people viewed it.
