President of Shandong University Li Shucai attended the fourth China-France-Africa Tripartite Higher Education Forum, which was held at Wuhan University on Nov 30.
Headmasters and scholars from over 20 universities in China, France and Africa participated in the discussion.
They focused on talent cultivation, scientific research, social services, cultural inheritance innovation, and international exchange and cooperation,which are the five major tasks of universities, to discuss cooperation prospects, paths, and modes among China, France, and Africa.
Li said SDU has bolstered its efforts to explore cooperation in high-end global talent cultivation, high-quality sci-tech innovation, and boost communication among civilizations.
SDU will work together with France and Africa to carry out cooperation in international talent training, exploration of the establishment of an academic alliance mechanism, and strengthening the construction of an international sci-tech research environment to boost mutual benefit in education and contribute to the construction of a shared future for mankind, Li noted.
The forum also witnessed the launch ceremony of a higher-education alliance of China, France, and Africa.
