The 13th China-South Korea University President Forum was held both online and offline on Dec 7. Han Shenghao, vice-president of Shandong University, attended the forum and gave a presentation on deepening cooperation and broadening fields topromotegreater cooperation and innovation between Chinese and South Korean universities in the post-epidemic era.
Han discussed the history of SDU and South Korean universities in terms of their past talent cultivation, scientific research and cultural exchanges.
He said SDU and South Korean universities will strengthen cooperation in scientific research and innovation,exploremore regional resources and expand student exchanges, as well as deepen academic communication to boost mutual learning between China and South Korea.
This year's forum was organized by Jeonbuk National University, attracting representatives from 21 Chinese universities such as Renmin University of China and Wuhan University, and 26 South Korean universities such as Korea University, Yonsei UniversityandHanyang University.
The forum was initiated in 2007 by the education ministries of both China and South Korea, and has been playing an active role in promoting exchanges and educational cooperation.
