Shandong University (SDU) staged a farewell concert in honor of its graduating class of 2023 on June 18.

The event took place at the sports arena in the university's central campus and was simulcast at various locations, including the Little Grove and the music hall. It was also accessible through online and offline platforms across all campuses.

The concert was divided into three chapters, with each showcasing a diverse range of performances by students from different schools, including singing, dancing, and cross-talk. Faculty representatives from SDU also took to the stage, offering musical tributes to express their best wishes to the soon-to-be graduates.

The evening culminated with the young graduates pledging to tirelessly strive for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

One highlight of the event was when Wang Junsong, the deputy secretary of the Party committee at SDU, conferred the flag to the 25th teaching group of SDU graduates. These graduates are preparing to embark on a journey to teach in remote regions throughout China, further extending the reach and impact of SDU's educational mission.
