According to Li, Shandong University will comprehensively improve its talent cultivation system, advance scientific and technological research in the areas of new energy and new materials and promote collaborative innovation to serve China's distinctive modernization.
The meeting focuses on in-depth discussions of hot topics and cutting-edge areas in energy materials chemistry, which will drive the formation of a series of new concepts, technologies, and methods to accelerate the development of the chemical discipline, particularly in the field of energy materials chemistry, Li said.
Li Yadong, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and also president of Anhui Normal University, stated in his speech that energy materials chemistry serves as the cornerstone of societal development and has played a significant role in the evolution of human civilization.
He said he hopes that the conference will serve as an opportunity to strengthen academic exchanges, deepen industrial cooperation, and continue to promote collaborative innovation.
The event also included a series of sub-forums on energy storage, energy catalysis, solar conversion and hydrogen utilization, energy electrochemical characterization and simulation, and solvent thermal coupling functional materials and energy applications. The conference also set up 18 awards to honor and encourage young scholars who have made achievements in the field of energy materials chemistry.
