Zi-jiang Chen, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and a professor at Shandong University, was awarded the 2023 Walter Futterweit Clinical Research Excellence at the AE-PCOS Conference held in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
Chen was conferred the award for her outstanding contribution to the research and clinical practice of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS).
Founded in 2017, the award is one of the most influential accolades in the field of PCOS research and is presented annually to a medical scientist who has made exceptional contribution to the field. Chen is the first Chinese recipient of this prestigious award.
