The Shandong University team won seven gold and four silver medals at the final of the China International College Students Innovation Competition, which was held at Tianjin University from Dec 3 to 6.

The competition, hosted by 12 departments including the Ministry of Education, attracted participants from over 5,000 schools in 151 countries and regions.

Shandong University spared no effort in preparing for the competition, striving to instill a strong sense of scientific research thinking and innovativeness among the participating students.

Shandong University team achieved a number of breakthroughs in the competition, with the proportion of gold medals ranking among the top universities in the country.
