Shandong University hosted a series of concerts at Shandong Grand Theater Concert Hall, Shandong University Concert Hall and Shandong University Mengdi Concert Hall from Dec 28 to 30, 2023, to welcome the New Year.

Xu Xuemin, a professor at the Fine Arts School of Shandong University, led the symphony orchestra and choir of Shandong University as they performed 11 music pieces.

Wang Junsong and Li Xiangyang, deputy Party secretaries of Shandong University attended the concert. The concert came to an end with the singing of My Motherland.

The Symphony Orchestra of Shandong University has held concerts every New Year's Eve since 2008. This year, more than 2,000 people watched the concert.
