High-Confidence Computing, an international academic journal sponsored by Shandong University, has been included in the Emerging Source Citation Index database, an affirmation of the journal's academic quality and editorial standards.

Established in June 2021, the journal provides a high-level international academic exchange platform for technology professionals engaged in the interdisciplinary research of high-confidence computing. It has since published a series of peer-reviewed, high-confidence academic articles related to computing theory and applications.

The journal was included in DOAJ database, Scopus database, Ei Compendex, and in November 2023 selected as part of the High-Starting New Journal Project under the Excellent Action Plan for Chinese Scientific and Technological Journals.

The journal is edited by Professor Cheng Xiuzhen from the School of Computer Science and Technology at Shandong University, Professor Lyu Weifeng from Beihang University, and Professor Cai Zhipeng from the University of Georgia in the United States. Its editorial board consists of 54 internationally renowned experts from more than 10 countries.

The ESCI (Emerging Source Citation Index) is an international journal citation indexing database launched by Clarivate Analytics in 2015 and contains outstanding academic journals with significant impact in emerging research fields.
