Shandong University (SDU) and Xinhua News Agency signed a cooperation framework agreement on Jan 30 aimed at promoting the university's profile and carrying out practical cooperation in media integration, personnel training and Party-building activities.

Fu Hua, president of Xinhua News Agency said that Xinhua News Agency hopes to deepen cooperation with SDU in talent cultivation, major research projects, and the advancement of important initiatives.

Ren Youqun, Party secretary of SDU and Li Shucai, president of SDU introduced the history of the university during their visit to Xinhua News Agency. They hope that the two sides will strengthen exchanges in think tank construction, personnel training, subject research, and publicity. Through the cooperation, more efforts will be made to enhance the image of SDU and create a favorable publicity environment for the university’s high-quality development.
