Ren Yongqun, Party secretary of Shandong University, met with Roland Reiland, Ambassador of Luxembourg to China, and LUNEX University – International University of Health, Exercise and Sports on March 7.

A memorandum of cooperation was signed between Shandong University and Lunex International University of Health, Exercise and Sports. According to the memorandum, the two sides will cooperate in degree programs, short-term training, joint research, and sports competitions.

During the signing ceremony, Ren shared the history of Shandong University and its strongest disciplinary and international exchanges, especially its cooperation with universities in Luxembourg.

He said that Shandong University will continue to strengthen cooperation with universities and scientific research institutions in Luxembourg and hopes that the Embassy of Luxembourg in China will help promote educational cooperation between the two sies.

Reiland hailed the signing of the memorandum of cooperation and said that Luxembourg boasts high-quality higher education resources, and the Embassy of Luxembourg in China will make more efforts to improve the cooperation mechanism between the two sides and further deepen areas of cooperation.
