The finals of the 17th National College Student Software Innovation Competition were recently held in Taicang, Jiangsu province.
The student team from Shandong University won three first prizes and six second prizes, as well as the Most Popular Award, the Best Organization Award, and the Best University Organization Award.
Shandong University was the only one among the 341 participating universities nationwide to receive the Best University Organization Award.
The competition, hosted by the Pilot Software Engineering Schools Association, was designed to further enhance university students' critical thinking, comprehensively promote the development of the software industry, and facilitate the training of software developers.
The projects covered a wide range of fields, including manufacturing, medicine, geology, beauty, elderly care, and childcare.
In the finals, contestants showcased their projects through presentations, defenses, and Q&A sessions. The projects spanned various fields, including manufacturing, medicine, geology, beauty, elderly care, and childcare. After evaluation, 10 teams won first prizes and 20 teams won second prizes.
