A cultural science education event featuring traditional Chinese medicine was held at Shandong University recently, with over 50 international students from countries including Russia, Serbia, Thailand, and South Korea participating.
Physicians from Jinan Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital provided the students with a comprehensive lecture on the origins and current development of TCM.
A series of TCM experience activities were also held, where international students tried to make medical herbal sachets. They also learned about the functions of medicinal herbs, how to identify them and how to recognize them by their scent.
The highlight of the event was the TCM diagnostic experience, where medical personnel offered on-site pulse diagnosis, acupuncture, and ear acupressure therapy, allowing students to experience the remarkable efficacy of TCM firsthand.
