The 2024 China Robot Intelligence Conference and the annual meeting of the Robotics Intelligence Committee of the Chinese Association of Automation was recently held at the Weihai campus of Shandong University.

Ren Youqun, Party secretary of Shandong University, introduced the achievements made by Shandong University's control science discipline in areas such as discipline development, scientific breakthroughs, and talent cultivation. He stated that Shandong University will further invigorate the integrated development of the control science discipline, creating a promising future for the development of artificial intelligence and robotics.

Qiao Hong, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, expressed the hope that the conference will foster exchanges and cooperation in related fields and push the boundaries of robot intelligence.

Jiang Bin, president of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, said during a video that the conference promotes cooperation and exchanges in the field of robot intelligence, which will help enhance research and application of robot intelligence technology in China.
