Shandong University hosted a series of grand symphonic concerts at the university's Baotuquan and central campuses as well as the Shandong Provincial Grand Theater from Oct 29 to 31, in celebration of the 60th anniversary of China-France diplomatic relations. The concerts were conducted by Laurent Mélin, a French composer, conductor, lifelong professor at the National Conservatory of Toulon, and visiting professor at Shandong University.
