Shandong University students presented an outstanding performance at the China Collegiate Programming Contest (CCPC), winning two gold medals, five silver medals, and two bronze medals.
The contest was held in four cities: Harbin, Jinan, Chongqing, and Zhengzhou. The Jinan round was hosted by the School of Software at Shandong University.
Each competing team, consisting of three members, was tasked with solving 13 problems in 5 hours through close collaboration. The timed challenges reflected real-world scenarios by requiring skills in logical reasoning, mathematical modeling, algorithm design, and programming, aiming to solve complex real-world problems.
The CCPC is an annual event organized by the CCPC Organizing Committee. It aims to inspire university students to develop an interest in computer science and encourage them to apply their knowledge and skills creatively to solve real-world problems.
