Shandong University hosted the Hong Kong Alumni Seminar in Hong Kong on Dec 1. More than 100 people attended the event, including alumni representatives from Hong Kong and prominent figures from Shandong province.

At the event, Shandong University President Li Shucai extended his greetings to alumni in Hong Kong and expressed his heartfelt gratitude to those who have cared for and supported the development of the university.

Li said that the alumni are a valuable resource and an important force for career development at Shandong University. He added that alumni in Hong Kong have made great contributions to the development of Shandong University

Li also expressed his hope that the alumni in Hong Kong would continue to support their alma mater, particularly the Hong Kong Research Institute of Shandong University, and play an active role in promoting the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

The alumni expressed a unified commitment to further promoting alumni culture, striving to repay their alma mater through outstanding achievements and contributing to Shandong University's goal of becoming a world-class university.
