Shandong University hosted the 2025 spring job fair from March 29 to 31, with events at its campuses in the cities of Jinan, Weihai and Qingdao.
With nearly 5,000 graduates from Shandong University and an additional 4,000 from other universities participating, the fair provided a platform for face-to-face interactions between jobseekers and employers.
It attracted around 1,000 employers from various industries, including artificial intelligence, electronics, new energy, new materials, intelligent manufacturing, healthcare, and modern services, providing 32,000 jobs.
These employers include more than 310 state-owned enterprises, 180 research institutes and healthcare facilities, 50 financial institutions, and over 160 industry-leading enterprises and their affiliates.
As a special initiative, the job fair featured an employment guidance zone featuring big data models. An AI career development assistant provided intelligent career profiling analysis on-site, offering industry-specific recommendations to graduates.
Moreover, services like AI resume writing and AI interview guidance were tailored to provide personalized and precise assistance to students seeking jobs.
A graduate from the university's School of Law said that the job fair brought together numerous high-quality companies, offering graduates a wealth of employment opportunities.
