The inaugural ceremony for the Shandong University Alumni Association in Macao was held at the Macau University of Science and Technology on March 27.

Li Shucai, President of Shandong University, said that the establishment of the association marks a key step in further integrating alumni resources into the university's development.

He expressed hope that the association will act as a bridge for communication among alumni, the university, and the Macau Special Administrative Region. Additionally, he encouraged alumni to contribute to Chinese modernization and the high-quality development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Chen Hongwei, Deputy Party Secretary of Shandong University, extended his congratulations on the establishment of the association in Macao. He wished the association a bright future and hoped it would strengthen connections among alumni while fostering collaboration between the university and the region.
