On Jan 11, Shandong University (SDU) officially launched its Global Alumni Service Hotline (400-985-1901) during the 40th-anniversary conference of the Xi'an Alumni Association. This initiative represents a significant step towards enhancing connectivity for the university's global alumni community.

Designed to act as an emotional bond and support bridge for 1.25 million "SDUers" worldwide, the hotline allows alumni to reconnect with their alma mater. By providing timely assistance and addressing specific requests, the university aims to foster a deeper sense of belonging and strengthen the unity of its graduates, regardless of their location.

Currently, the hotline has been officially put into operation, offering support services that include alumni liaison, event consultations, and practical service guidance.

Looking ahead, the Global Alumni Service Hotline will continue to integrate with existing digital service platforms. This "online-plus-offline" model creates a responsive service ecosystem. By combining digital tools with the personal touch of a voice connection, SDU ensures that every "SDUer" remains a valued member of the campus family, feeling the warmth of their alma mater worldwide.
