Abstract:
Cross Cultural Adjustment is a process that every international student has to go through in his experience of studying abroad. Besides the challenges of language and academic expectation, inevitable loneliness and differences in thinking perspectives are also resources of distress. In this seminar, we would like to focus on emotional well-being in cultural adjustment, discuss menta health issues openly, and promote healthy self-care strategies.

Counselor at Babson College Counseling and Psychological Service
Counselor at China University of Petroleum-College of International Education
Consulting professor at CUC online -Communication University of China
Minyue graduated from Northeastern University in Boston and obtained her Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Massachusetts and has worked with adolescents and young adults primarily in the past fifteen years of clinical practice. She is specialized in treatment of depression, anxiety, family communication issues and psychological trauma.
