Bio:
Yu Jingwei is a Professor and the Director of the UCSF Cytogenetics Laboratory in the Department of Laboratory Medicine. He is a Fellow of American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics (ACMG). He is a clinical cytogeneticist certified by the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics (ABMGG) and licensed by the State of California.
He received his medical degree from Tongji Medical College in China, and his PhD degree in Biochemistry and Genetics from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. He completed his Clinical Cytogenetics Fellowship at the Yale University School of Medicine, and his post-doctoral research at the University of Colorado and the Yale University. Before joining UCSF, Dr. Yu was the Director of the Cytogenetics Laboratory at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
