Bio:
Rossitza Setchi, Professor at the Cardiff University, and Deputy Head of the School of Engineering, Director of Research is fellow of British Computer Society, and Institution of Mechanical Engineers. She has won the Singapore Tan Chin Tuan prize for High Level Research, Singapore Knowledge Systems Engineering Outstanding Contribution Award and IMechE. She is now the deputy director of International Journal of Knowledge and Systems Science and International Journal of System Science, and has been the director in chief of many Special Issues of international Journal.
Professor Rossitza Setchi’s main research fields include AI, robot, system engineering and high-value manufacturing, and enjoys a high reputation in knowledge system and computer semantics worldwide. She has published over 220 theses and has won over £22 million research funds (¥200 million). She is in close research cooperation with over 30 colleges and universities, 15 scientific research agencies and 30 industrial partners in over 20 countries in Europe, Asia, and Australia. Some representative partners include Airbus, Bosch, Marcbp, Ford, Siemens and Renishaw.
Professor Rossitza Setchi has been invited to give thematic presentations at internationally renowned academic conferences frequently, including SDM 2018, ISSE2017, KES2015, USS 2015, IIUM Engineering Congress 2015 and she has been invited to do invitational papers in China, France, Germany, Japan, Singapore, Spain, Britain and the US.
