Abstract:
This talk is concerned with a nonlinear elliptic equation with critical exponent. By combining a finite reduction argument and local Pohozaev type of identities, we prove that the problem has infinitely many solutions under some suitable assumptions on the potential function.
Bio:
Prof.Peng completed his Ph.D. on Mathematics in Academy of Mathematical and System Sciences from Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2003. He is currently professor of School of Mathematics and Statistics in Central China Normal University. His main research interests include Nonlinear Functional Analysis, Nonlinear Elliptic Equations and Singularly Perturbed Problems. He has published in top journals such asAdv. Math.; Arch. Ratinal.
