Abstract:
We review some weighted Sobolev type inequalities inspired by results from nonlinear PDEs, in particular, for radially symmetric functions, and their applications to ground state and bound state solutions of nonlinear Schrodinger type equations.
Bio:
Dr. Wang graduated in 1982 from Jilin University majoring in mathematics, and received his MS degree and PhD degree in mathematics from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, in 1984 and 1986, respectively.
