Abstract:
The main topic of this talk is conformal metrics with conic singularities on Riemann surface. Unlike classical uniformization theorem, surfaces with conic singularities do not always carry metrics with constant curvature. Hence on such conic surfaces, one looks for alternatives of constant curvature metrics. We determine the metrics which are least-pinched. This is a joint work with Hao Fang.
