Abstract:

Means play an important role in matrix theory and operator theory. The preserver of means is an active research field. In this talk, we will talk about the preserver transformations between positive definite cones in operator algebras relating the spectral geometric mean of Fiedler and Ptak. We also discuss structural similarities and dissimilarities between the Kubo-Ando geometric mean and the spectral geometric mean. We also consider the transformations that preserves the Schatten p-norm of the spectral geometric mean and other two version of Schatten p-norm quantum Renyi relative entropy. We show that these preserves are characterized by Jordan *-isomorphisms between C*-algebras. This talk is based on joint work with Li Kaixuan, Shi Zheng, Li Lei and Lajos Molnar.
