Abstract:
In this talk we are concerned with the trace of Frobenius of elliptic curves over a finite field, which is the fluctuation of the number of points on the elliptic curve over the finite field deviated from the expected value. We shall survey some recent results and their connection with other objects in the proofs. In particular, we shall look into the work of Bringmann, Kane and Pujahari in the arXiv.
