Abstract:
In this talk, some control problems with PDE constraints and its applications are introduced. Firstly, CNOPs of QG flow are obtained numerically. These results suggest that the CNOPs are applicable to the study of predictability and sensitivity analysis when nonlinearity is of importance. Secondly, optimal error estimates for the control, state and adjoint state for optimal control problems governed by elliptic and parabolic PDEs with interfaces in the cases of homogeneous and nonhomogeneous jump conditions, respectively. Then, optimal convergence order is proved for the optimal control on the interface for elliptic PDEs. Numerical examples are provided to confirm the theoretical results. Finally, numerical results are presented for optimal control problems with nonlinear singular differential equations constraints.
