Abstract:

In this talk, we will give a survey on list decoding of Hamming metric codes. We first introduce the concept of list decoding, then we come to list decoding of random codes. Afterwards, we briefly survey list decoding of Hamming metric codes over large alphabet size. Finally, we provide some results on list decoding of Hamming metric codes over the binary fields.
