Abstract:
Recently, the simplicial epidemic model is used to study the spread of infectious diseases considering collective infection on higher-order networks. In this talk, we propose a simplicial susceptible-alert-infected-susceptible (SAIS) propagation model with demographic and alert effect on the simplicial network. We consider the impact of individual behavior changes through the way individuals are alerted to take steps to avoid infection. In this talk, we hypothesize that the media is the main cause of individual alert. We capture the discontinuous phase transition phenomenon and bistable phenomenon of the system. We also find the stable periodic solution in the model under certain parameters.
