The Bailu or White Dew (Chinese: 白露), is the 15th solar term of the traditional Chinese solar calendar and it begins this year on Sept 8. This period indicates the real beginning of autumn.

This term is named as such because vapors in the air condense into white dew that can be found on grass and trees as temperatures decline. Check out these autumn sights at Shandong University.
