Located at the Central Campus, the Theme Post Office of Shandong University (SDU) operated by China Post was recently opened to the public.
This is the first theme post office in Shandong province that integrates mail delivery services and campus cultural creative products. It is not only a post office, but also a name card of campus culture, as well as a base for students to start their own businesses.
The theme post office sells mail products, such as postcards and stamps, with SDU characteristics. It will also hold cultural activities like "deliver the beauty and charm of SDU to the world" to help improve the university's cultural construction and the quality of delivery services.
A special service, "future mail", is also available in the post station, where students can send mails that will be delivered on a designated date, such as Spring Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, Teachers' Day, traditional Chinese Valentine's Day, and someone's birthday.
In addition, the standard mail packaging is designed to incorporate SDU's elements, so that every mail is an envoy of this unique, charming university.
China Post also released exclusive postmarks for each school of SDU, so that each mail will have its own story to tell.
A practice base was also established in the postal office, where internship opportunities are accessible for students of all majors.
