As an amateur street photographer, I am particularly interested in urban spaces and how daily life takes place in this merger of modernity and tradition. Modernity embraces every aspect of life, but at the same time you can easily recognize the lasting importance of Chinese culture. It never ceases to amaze me, how this modernity "with Chinese characteristics" translates into urban life. This is what I try to express by my photographs, and this is how I personally experience Chinese culture.
