Shandong University's 7th Cheerleading Competition and 18th Basketball Match for graduate students concluded recently, attracting 25 teams and 29 teams respectively.

The first prizes of the Cheerleading Competition were awarded to the following teams: School of Economics, the Fine Arts School, School of Journalism and Communication, School of Management, as well as School of Literature. The second prizes were awarded to eight teams, such as School of Physical Education and School of Foreign Languages and Literature, while the third prizes went to 12 teams, including School of History and Culture, as well as School of Philosophy and Social Development.

Viewers Choice Awards were given to School of Nursing and Rehabilitation, School of Public Health, as well as School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering.

After more than a month's matches, four basketball teams entered the final rounds. In the finals, School of Mechanical Engineering defeated the joint team comprised of School of Mathematics and Zhongtai Security Institute for Financial Studies and took the third place. In the championship game, School of Physical Education beat School of Medicine and won the championship.
