Professor Eric B. Easton from the School of Law at the the University of Baltimore in the United States held an online course for students from the School of Law at Shandong University (SDU) from Nov 22 to Dec 3.

The eight-day online class includedeightseries of lectures themed on "Media Law", which helped students form an international perspective on media law.

Professor Easton started with the formulation of the media law and taught things such as defamation law, privacy law, advertising law, and copyright law.

In addition, he shared different perspectives with students to help them better understand the course and form their own opinions.

He also raised question based on real-life scenarios in order to help students apply what they learn to real life.

Professor Easton also left assessment questions for students' review after the course and encouraged them to develop independent and in-depth thoughts and opinions.
