Shandong University's School of Law won the national first prize at the 2022 International Criminal Court Chinese Moot Court, which concluded on April 17.
The SDU team also won awards for the Best Victim's Petition, Best Court Defense, and the Best Attorney for Victim.
The team took part in both the English and Chinese moot competitions. Team members started preparing for the Chinese competition immediately after completing the English competition at the end of March.
The team won all the awards at this year's competition, including the group award, the petition award, and the court defense award, and was the only one on the top five list for both the English and Chinese competitions.
In recent years, the School of Law has been stepping up efforts to cultivate talents and practice debating through the moot court competition. The school encourages students to participate in both domestic and foreign moot court competitions to enhance their academic and practical skills, as well as to showcase SDU students' remarkable ability through both domestic and foreign competitions.
