The Department of International Affairs supports the University in the formulation and implementation of its Global Strategy, and coordinates global engagement at SDU by:

• Developing and supporting institutional partnerships.

• Managing and supporting student and staff exchange.

• Recruiting International Students.

• Offering services to international students and scholars at SDU.

• Hosting international delegations to SDU.

• Promoting international Chinese language education.

• Supporting Senior Administration to advance SDU's international operations and strategy.

The Office for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs facilitates exchange and collaboration with Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan by:

• Developing and maintaining partnerships with universities, cultural and educational institutions, and social organizations;

• Organizing university-level educational exchange activities and academic collaboration programs with partner institutions;

• Overseeing and supporting SDU schools and departments in the collaborations involving Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan;

• Coordinating admission, education, management and services for students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.
