On February 13th, the students of Shandong University returned to class for the start of the spring semester.
As part of a new initiative this semester, the school departments all put in much preparatory work to be sure they were ready to welcome to return of their students. During February 10 to 11, the Office of Educational Administration visited or telephoned each campus, and checked the conditions of schools and faculties. The check made certain that the undergraduate teaching programs were well prepared. Both the library and logistics department of SDU were fully prepared for the new semester.

Many students wasted no time, and studied in the classrooms, self-study rooms and libraries in their spare time. The eye-catching slogans “new semester, new challenges, new learning goals, new image, and new success” on the electronic screen wall of the teaching building remind the students of the beginning of a new semester. With all the faculty and staff working diligently to make sure everything runs smoothly as their students return, the whole university is alive with passion for the coming semester.
