On August 1, the News Network of the 22nd International Congress of Historical Sciences (Chinese Version) went online. This network is aimed at coordinating the official website, comprehensively showing and recording grand occasions of the congress, making a platform for publicizing news information of the congress.

The 22nd International Congress of Historical Sciences will be held from August 23rd to August 29th in Jinan of Shandong Province. It will be the first time the congress has come into Asia, and been held in China, in its 115 years history. At that time, more than 2,000 historians from all over the world will gather in Jinan. In order to greet this grand academic international conference, the news network will use written characters, pictures, videos, exclusive interviews and so on to make all-round stereoscopic and multi-perspective publicity for the conference while the official website places extra emphasis on giving general information such as trends of affairs of the congress.

The network was designed to include Qilu culture and features of SDU, to show Chinese style and highlight the theme of academic culture. Its whole style corresponds to the official website of the congress.

Up to now, SDU has publicized the congress through several channels; the entire media platform has already formed including the website, television, broadcast, newspaper, microblog and Wechat aspects for teachers and students to focus on the congress.
