A group of 131 medical staff members from Qilu Hospital of Shandong University left for central Hubei province on Feb 7 to lend a hand in the fight against the novel coronavirus outbreak, local medial reported.
The team flew to Hubei from Jinan Yaoqiang International Airport. Local officials said the medical personnel all had rich experience in the prevention, control and treatment of infectious diseases and life-threatening cases.
Accordingly, Qilu Hospital of Shandong University has sent 19 medical staff members to Hubei, the epicenter of the outbreak.
