"Ji Xiafeng" Post-graduate Academic Forum of Shandong University, founded in 2002, is a postgraduate academic organization working under the Graduate School and Ministry of postgraduates of Shandong University. By inviting experts and scholars home and abroad and taking the form of academic lectures to explore academic, the forum enhances the interdisciplinary temper and communication, and thus expands the range of knowledge and academic thinking space of our graduate students, while it also highlights the graduate's academic quality and academic standards and riches post-graduates' academic and cultural life by creating a good academic atmosphere and scientific culture. Since its inception, more than 240 academic lectures have been successfully held which focus on politics, history, philosophy, literature, law, mathematics, physics, medicine, electronic information engineering and other disciplines. Thus This forum has become a well-known academic brand of Shandong University, and enjoyed a good reputation in the whole school.

"Ji Xiafeng " Graduate Academic Forum of Shandong University is hosted by Graduate School and Ministry of postgraduates, while undertaken by the graduate training units. By inviting famous experts and professors in our school, the well-known scholars from other colleges and universities home and abroad, and also the outstanding figures from all communities, this forum selects the specialty area and topics of the lecturers, and holds academic seminars for our school teachers and students. In the main body of participation, mainly PhD students and graduates are involved, it also taking in the undergraduate students' actively participation; while in the subject field, it gives full play to "cultural and historical known" of Shandong University, the academic strengths take a broad range of humanities, social sciences, science and engineering, medical and other disciplines.
