From March 6 to 10, a delegation of 16 people from the University of Erlangen visited the School of Foreign Languages and Literature at Shandong University. German majors from Grade 2010 and Grade 2011 and students from the German Culture Association of the School of Foreign Languages and Literature received the guests.
During the visit, the delegation visited the Hydrometer (Shandong) Metering Co., Ltd. and the Software Park Campus of SDU, taking in the sights by visit Jinan and the wonderful Mount Tai in Shandong Province.
In the morning of March 7, the delegation participated in the meeting, held by the Germany Department of the School of Foreign Languages and Literature, to communicate with SDU students face to face. On March 8, the delegation visited Hydrometer (Shandong) Metering Co., Ltd and was warmly received. During the visit, the company staff introduced some basic information about the company and the technological products, and also demonstrated the product models. In the afternoon, the delegation visited the company's production department and experienced every aspects of the productive process. The German staffs of the company were glad to welcome the delegation, enjoying a relaxing chat from their fellow countrymen. The delegation then went on to visit the Software Park Campus. The delegation visited Mount Tai accompanied by the German majors of SDU on March 9. During the visit, students from both sides communicated well, learning about their culture differences and establishing a profound friendship.
